Exciting new Vpop comebacks!

There are more Vpop comebacks this month- and boy are they good!

1. First up, we have Suboi. She is arguably one of Vietnam's best rappers. When Ho Ngoc Ha's song, "My Apology" debuted, everyone was fixated on finding out more about the rapper with a voice that was unfamiliar to the Vietnamese audience. In mid-2010, Suboi released her first album titled "Bước/Walk." This year, she will come back with a second album. Here is the promotion video for the new album. The song is called "1000 Watts."

Vietnam Stars Still Pretty Without Makeup :)

Below are pictures of some Vietnam stars without their makeup on.  I think they still look pretty without those inches of makeup caked onto their faces.  Let's see who they are :)

New MV Tu Ngay Anh Di by Ho Ngoc Ha!

After waiting and waiting, Ho Ngoc Ha's Tu Ngay Anh Di's official MV has been released!

Before the MV was out, many people hyped up the MV saying how it will be extremely intricately produced with interesting story line, amazingly beautiful settings, and Ho Ngoc Ha will be transformed into an exotic Egyptian queen!

Is Ho Ngoc Ha's "Invincible" Convincable?

As mentioned sometime last week, Ho Ngoc Ha has a new MV out and it was officially released on October 17, 2011.  Some of you might have seen it on Youtube already, and if you haven't, here's the MV:

What was your first impression after seeing this MV? Honestly, after all the hype from the MV promotion, I had higher expectation. I mean, the graphic is great and all and Ho Ngoc Ha looks stunning even though she's an alien.  However; the storyline just didn't make much sense to me, and maybe it's not supposed to make sense?  Maybe it was just supposed to be a "cool" video with awesome high-tech graphics?  If that was the purpose, then yes, Ho Ngoc Ha had successfully done that since there aren't that many MVs such as this one in the Viet Pop Industry.

I know Ho Ngoc Ha is a great dancer and she does practice very hard on her dancing, but I just thought the choreography for this song in this MV in particular is not very appealing to me.  Thought they (HNH & Hoang Thong Dance Team) did a better job in the choreography on stage.

Here are some pictures from the press release of the Album:

(HNH with MC Nguyen Khang)

(HNH and V.Music)

(HNH with her parents)

(Huge bouquet from her baby's daddy-Cuong Dollar)

(Cuong "Do-La" and Song writter Nguyen Hong Thuan)

Rating (From my perspective) 0-10:

Song: 7

Choreography: 5

Quality of MV: 9

Concept: 8 (Having good concept)

Concept Execution: 5 (Couldn't deliver the concept)

Outfit/Makeup: 10 (She's beautiful!!)

Let me know your view on it :)

The Best of Friends in Viet Showbiz

Good friends are hard to find, especially for celebrities.  Showbiz is a complicated world, there are people who come and go, people who have hidden motives, people who use one another to be famous.  But besides all those negative connotations, good friendships do exist.  Let's start with the first pair!

Quang Vinh & Ly Quy Khanh

We all know Quang Vinh as a singer, well what does his bestfriend do?  Ly Quy Khanh is an interior designer, a fashion designer, and a businessman.  People sometimes mistaken Ly Quy Khanh as Quang Vinh's assistant since the two are together quite often!

Hoai Linh & Dam Vinh Hung

It's no surprised that these two big stars are the best of friends.  They appear together many times, not only on stage but also off stage.  They are so close to the point that Hoai Linh's parents have taken Dam Vinh Hung as their godson! Not only that, Dam Vinh Hung is also Hoai Linh's younger brother's (Duong Trieu Vu) mentor.

Ho Ngoc Ha & Thanh Hang (My favorite pair!)

Although one is a famous singer and one is a supermodel, they both started out as models.  Most people won't think that they're best friends since they don't usually work together; however, they often go shopping and travel together.

Le Hieu & Lee Nguyen

Le Hieu is a big soccer fan therefore most of his friends are soccer players.  He is especially close with the Vietnamese American soccer player-Lee Nguyen.  The two often party together and Le Hieu also shares many of their pictures on his Facebook!  (Lee Nguyen is a cutie isn't he?? :P)

Last but not least Jennifer Pham & Lan Huong

We already know who Jennifer Pham is, but who is Lan Huong?  Well, being so gorgeous, of course she is a supermodel.  The two became close after starring in a movie together.  Although they haven't known each other for that long, but the two always hang out at events and go shopping together.

Ho Ngoc Ha's New MV-Invincible

Once again, Ho Ngoc Ha wows her fans with an upcoming MV-Invincible.  As far as I know, Ho Ngoc Ha's MVs are always highly invested and this time is no different.  "Invincible" is one of the songs in her new Album "Se Mai Ben Nhau"which will be released on 10/17/2011.  It is said that this MV is by far the most invested MV in terms of money and concept.

Boy look at this Lamborghini!

In order for this MV to be completed, Ho Ngoc Ha flew to the US and worked with a talented Vietnamese-American director Danny Do.   Here is the quick trailer of the MV:

Can you guess what the MV is going to be about? It looks darn cool right? Well let's see what she has to say about this MV in this "behind the scene" clip below:

And here is Ho Ngoc Ha performing her new song-Invincible in the show called "Sieu Mau 2011" (Top Model 2011?)

Boy am I excited to see this MV, I know it will be a good one :)
