Tyra Banks Praises Hoang Thuy

Tyra Banks recently uploaded a picture of her in front of Vietnam's busy traffic and two pictures with Hoang Thuy (Vietnam's Next top Model winner) on her Facebook.

Her caption reads: "There are so many motorbikes in Vietnam, it's BANANAS! I was told to walk SLOWLY when you cross the street in front of one. They say it's the safest way to cross. I resisted the urge to dart and dash!"

In her picture with Hoang Thuy, she wrote: "Sharin' a smize with Hoàng Thị Thùy, winner of Vietnam's Next Top Model - she walked the runways at New York Fashion Week, I'm so proud!"

In the second photo she posted, she wrote a similar message: "So proud of the winner of Vietnam's Next Top Model - Hoàng Thị Thùy – she showed off her fierce strut on the runway at New York Fashion Week!"

If you haven't read the news, Hoang Thuy, along with Tuyet Lan, were invited to walk in New York's fashion week that took place in February 2012. After Vietnam's Next Top Model, the models were signed to BeU Model Management. The company sent two portfolios to many fashion houses and caught the attention of Liberian designer Korto Momolu and New York designer Laurel DeWit. The show which takes place twice a year in New York, Paris, Milan, and London marked both girls' first international walk.

Here are some pictures from the show:
